How long can my children play during open play?
As long as you and your child would like! However, there is no re-entry.
Is outside food or drink permitted?
No – we do not allow outside food or beverages (except for dietary reasons). Playgrounds of Tampa offers a variety of snack options and healthy choices. We also freshly brew coffee, lattes, cappuccinos and teas at our cafe. We offer snack bundles and are upgrading our options continuously.
What is the age limit to play at Playgrounds of Tampa?
Toddler Area: 0-3
Open Play Space and Arcade: 0-12
Playgrounds is designed for small children (0-12 years old), older children who are here with siblings and friends must respect that this is designed for little one’s and must give-way to little ones in the playscape.
Do we need to bring socks for our children to play?
Yes Please!!! – To keep Playgrounds as clean as possible all children are required to wear socks while in the play areas (grip socks not necessary). There will also be socks for sale should you forget.
What is my role as a parent when we visit?
To ENJOY watching your children have a great time. We love it when our parents encourage play and positive behavior with their kiddos. We ask that you monitor your child to ensure a respectful and positive play experience for all. We reserve the right to ask bullies to leave. If you are ever in need of assistance or a good time-out space please ask a member of our staff. We are here to assist you at all times!
Do you have memberships available?
Yes – we offer memberships as well as frequent jumper cards.
Do you offer a military discount?
Yes – We offer military discounts on our general admission rates.
Am I allowed to go on the inflatables with my child?
When helping your child feel comfortable at the beginning of play or when assisting a child out of the play structure.
Is smoking allowed in any area of the building?
No. Not near 10 feet of building. Please no vape or e-cigarettes within building either.
What ages is Playgrounds of Tampa best for?
From walking to about 12 year old. During the school day, we primarily see child between the ages of 1-4. After school, the average age range is closer to 5-7.
Does Playgrounds of Tampa offer toddler-only play times?
Not necessarily. When local schools are in session, it is primarily child ages 0-4. We do offer a Toddler Time Music and Dance class on Tuesdays from 10-10:30am.
What’s included in kids birthday party packages?
We have 3 different party packages, but all packages include: 80 minutes of Open Play, 40 minutes in a private party room, Solid colored table cloths, white plates, napkins, utensils, a free jump pass for the birthday child and your own party host.
